Armed bandits invaded a hospital in Kaduna State early yesterday, abducting a medical doctor, five patients, and a security guard, according to reports.

Local sources said the attackers stormed Kujama town, the headquarters of Chikun local government area, and proceeded directly to the Nasara Nursing and Maternity Home, a private medical facility.
Witnesses reported that the assailants, who arrived in large numbers, also raided nearby houses during the attack. One security guard who attempted to resist was shot multiple times and later rushed to another hospital for treatment.
The abduction occurred just days after other violent incidents across Kaduna State.
Recall that last Friday, two police officers were killed when bandits attacked the Divisional Police Headquarters in Zonkwa, the headquarters of Zangon-Kataf local government area.
